Frequently asked questions:
How do I know if I am a Union
member?
Answer:
On your pay stub you will see "CSEA Due" if you are a member
of CSEA. Otherwise, you will see "Shop Fee". The amount taken out of your
check is the same either way, but shop fee payers are not members.
How do I join the Union?
Answer:
If you work for Ulster County just ask your Shop Steward for an application.
(See Shop Steward Listing on this Web Site)
or call the CSEA office at 845-331-8080 and ask to have an application sent to you,
or pick one up at the office at 256 Clinton Ave., Kingston. You may have
joined during New Hire Orientation - check your pay stub. Why should I join the Union?
