Re: Negotiation Communication Methods
In order to effectively communicate to the CSEA Unit #8950 membership concerning the progress of negotiations between the County of Ulster and CSEA, I will be using the following methods of communication. They are:
- The CSEA Unit #8950 Website, www.cseaunit8950.org.
The website will be utilized to post communications between the County of Ulster and CSEA, negotiation meeting dates, membership meeting dates and the progress of negotiations.
2. CSEA Bulletin Boards.
Bulletin boards will be used to post communications such as membership meeting dates, negotiation meeting dates, and the progress of negotiations.
3. Officers and Shop Stewards.
The CSEA Unit #8950 Officers and Shop Stewards will have in their possession copies of the Union’s proposals to the County of Ulster and the County of Ulster proposals to the Union, for the employees to review.
- CSEA Unit #8950 Membership Meeting.
Membership meetings will be held to update members as to the progress of negotiations and when a tentative agreement (the details) is reached.
- Phone Calls to the Union Office.
